The REAL 2008 Diet - Faith

Ok, I'm watching lifetime TV network, like I always do, and every other commercial on that station as well as others is a commercial for dieting pills, or dieting plans. OMG people the real big secret to shedding pounds is ....hellllllllllllo EAT PROPERLY, meaning don't eat so much junk food, McDonald's, Burger King, Taco Bell, do not help if you are trying to diet. Exercise is also an important thing, and this again is common sense. You all are being lazy buying diet pills, and weight watchers food, when you can get all this at your local grocery store..Is America that lazy? I mean my goodness.

Not only that but look at how many different commercials there are for dieting, with different companies trying really hard to convince you that this is the one to buy. Obviously they don't work because if they need, they wouldn't have so many different ones to choose from. These such companies haven't been around 10 or so years, and with all the chemicals in these pills, how do we know later on down the road you wont end up being diagnosed with something?? God forbid that happen, but I'm trying to make a point here.

You want to lose weight, well I'm going to tell you how do to it, and no I'm not a nutritionists, and someone who knows about weight issues and such, but after being pregnant I was big, and I have always been really skinny, so I'm going to tell you what I did. Hopefully you do it, and it works. I mean come on now its except the groceries you will have to pay for...

1. STOP being LAZY
Get off your butts and start walking, go bike riding, walk the mall, park, something, just don't stay laying down all day.

2. Eat Right
You can eat whatever you want, but watch out for things that have sugars in them, because that's what really makes you gain weight. It's okay to have ice cream and things like that just don't make it a daily routine. Pastas, rice, bread, are all starchy foods, but you do need them. As well as meats and veggies, mix it up. , and don't worry about what time you eat, because to me that whole don't eat after a certain tiem is nonsense. If you don't work out yes of course your going to gain weight eating at all type of hours. Try to eat all 3 meals a day with a snack in between.

3. Exercise
Its going to be hard at first to get on a routine but you CAN do it. Crunches are great, leg lifts, squats, all of these and more exercises will help you shed your pounds off.

4. Pray
Yea I said it, God will give you everything you want in life, if you meet him half way , have faith in him, as well as yourself , and show him you really want it. Before you workout or feel the need to eat something , you know you should not be, ask God to give you the strength that you need to exercise, and to not eat those fatty foods. After all your body is his temple, and he wants us all to be healthy, so trust me on this one you pray, you'll get it.

I'm not going to get into full detail because alot of you are not going to take this seriously or really listen, and I can't help anyone who doesn't want to be helped. But hey its your health, and you need to keep on top of it. Don't have a cant do attitude, have a CAN do attitude. Grab a friend if you don't want to exercise alone, you all might think of new things to do exercise wise. Plus its always good to have a really good support team to back you up.
